Cybersport has never seen anything like it: the world's first 800Hz gamer monitor unveiled

Chinese company HKC announced a revolutionary gamer monitor with a record refresh rate of 800 Hz - it is the world's first display with such a figure.

The novelty is equipped with a 24.5″display with VA-matrix and Full HD resolution, miniLED backlighting and quantum dot technology. A total of 1152 local dimming zones are provided, which is twice as much as Apple Pro Display XDR.

The monitor supports 99% Adobe RGB and 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut, has a 10-bit colour depth and ΔE<1.5 colour accuracy. Response time is only 0.5 ms and peak brightness reaches 1200 nits with a contrast ratio of 4000:1. The device is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified and is compatible with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies.

HKC positions the new product as an ideal solution for professional cyber athletes and gamers seeking maximum smoothness and responsiveness. This monitor is ideal for achieving the best results in competitive games such as Counter-Strike, Valorant and Apex Legends.

The sales launch date and price of the monitor from HKC has not been revealed yet.
