Still $70: Gearbox opens Borderlands 4 pre-orders and talks about the bonuses of the expensive editions
Gearbox and 2K Games have revealed the information that gamers were particularly interested in - the price of co-operative shooter Borderlands 4.
Recall, some time ago Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford got into a public scandal, when he first hinted at the price tag of $80, and later said that "a real fan will not spare any money to buy the game.
Here's What We Know
Gearbox Studios has just opened Borderlands 4 pre-orders on all platforms, thanks to which it became known that the standard edition of the shooter will cost $70.
For pre-order of any edition (until 12th September) players will be awarded with a set of cosmetic items "Gold of Glory", and after the release of the game this set can be purchased separately if desired.
The $100 Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition will include an additional "Fury of the Fire Hawk" skin, as well as a set of "Unheard of Bounty" kits that unlocks for players:
- 4 unique zones with missions and bosses;
- 4 Vault maps;
- new weapons and equipment;
- cosmetics for the Vault Seekers;
- 4 additional vehicles.
The $130 Super Deluxe Edition will include two additional sets in addition to all of the above.
"Order of Order:
- 4 Vault Seeker colours;
- 4 Vault Seeker heads;
- 4 Vault Seeker bodies.
Vault Seeker Set:
- 2 new playable Vault Seekers;
- 2 new Story Sets;
- 2 new map regions;
- additional equipment and weapons;
- cosmetics for Vault Seekers and ECHO-4.
When We Can Expect It
Borderlands 4 will release on 12 September on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
