Xiaomi has officially confirmed the imminent release of its new Mix Flip 2 foldable smartphone and published its first teaser. The device will be unveiled in China as early as the end of June 2025, with a global launch expected within a few weeks after that.

Here's What We Know

Xiaomi has not yet revealed the look of the device, limiting itself to a teaser (on Chinese social media) with the caption "See you this month". However, it is already known that the Mix Flip 2 will be a direct competitor to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the recently unveiled Motorola Razr 60 Ultra.

From media reports, we know that the Mix Flip 2 will get a 6.85″AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, there's a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, up to 16GB of RAM and a 5100 to 5600mAh battery, which will make the Mix Flip 2 one of the toughest among foldable smartphones on the market.

The gadget supports 67W fast charging and wireless charging up to 50W. The main camera will consist of two 50MP sensors: primary and ultra-wide-angle, which will work in tandem with image processing algorithms from Leica. IPX8 water protection is expected and the body is only 7.6mm thick.

The cost of the foldable flagship is unknown, but if Xiaomi maintains its aggressive pricing strategy, it could become the most affordable "flip" with top-end stuffing.
