The next Battlefield will have a story mode and a raw footage has already appeared that demonstrates an exciting campaign
A video has leaked on social media that gives us the first look at a potential fragment of the Battlefield 6 campaign. This is not just any screenshot, but more than a minute of intense single-player content showing an epic mission completion. The footage was provided by Temporyal, a well-known Battlefield dataminer, although it stressed that this is "just a video file in the client, not actual gameplay from the test".
Here's What We Know
The clip looks very raw, obviously unfinished and full of bugs, but it's one of our first glimpses into the single-player portion of the next, highly anticipated Battlefield title. The footage, which appeared on social media, instantly caused a huge stir, as Battlefield fans are eager to see a "first look" at the potential single-player campaign of Battlefield 6. It is very likely that the clip does not fully reflect the final version, but it gives us a look behind the scenes of what EA studios have been preparing all these years.
In the following comment below the video, Temporyal answered a user's question about the duration of the campaign: "As of now, it looks like we'll be getting a prologue and eight missions set in various locations - including Egypt, Tajikistan, the United States, and Gibraltar." This hints at the global scale of the conflict that is likely to be central to the game.
Die-hard fans of the Battlefield franchise were quick to point out how much DICE (the development studio) loves destroying dams in Battlefield games. It is indeed a recurring theme in the popular first-person shooter series. The leak shows a huge dam collapsing, which promises incredible visuals and destructive scenarios that have always been a hallmark of the series.
We can only wait for the official announcement and the first gameplay trailers to fully appreciate the potential of the new EA game.
