The Chinese are preparing a new hit: NetEase presented Blood Message adventure action game with stunning graphics and cool production

Chinese publisher NetEase, which specialises in releasing multiplayer games, has decided to move away from the usual concept and announced its first big-budget single-player game.

Here's What We Know

The novelty is called Blood Message and is a story-driven action-adventure game with a lot of cinematic scenes and excellent graphics, created on Unreal Engine 5.

The game is developed by 24 Entertainment, the creator of the popular multiplayer action game Naraka: Bladepoint.

The action of the game unfolds at the end of the Chinese Tang Dynasty. At the centre of the story will be a nameless messenger and his young son - they must deliver a fateful message, on which depends the fate of the empire. For this purpose protagonists will have to travel 1500 km, overcome a huge number of obstacles and threats, defeat enemies and accept the help of situational allies.

Details of Blood Message are still scarce, but it seems that the narrative of the game will be built around the choice between duty to the homeland and love for family. The authors aim to give players a spectacular cinematic experience without forgetting the addictive gameplay.

When We Can Expect It

Blood Message doesn't have a release date yet. Development is underway for PC and unnamed consoles.
