Metaphor: ReFantazio has become Atlus' fastest-selling game with over 2 million copies already sold

At the end of 2024, Sega has become the best video game publisher according to Metacritic. This was largely due to the highest scores of the role-playing game Metaphor: ReFantazio from Atlus Studios.

Atlus has been delighting JRPG fans with excellent games for many years, first of all Persona series, but according to the new Sega report Metaphor: ReFantazio became the fastest selling game of the studio. Over 2 million copies sold in six months, which is an excellent result for a game of such a specific genre.

Sonic X Shadow Generations is in second place in terms of sales results, and it has surpassed another popular Atlus JRPG, Persona 3 Reload. Recently Atlus announced Persona 4 Revival, which may well surpass the success of the studio's previous works.
