The record is cancelled: a video of the foldable flagship Galaxy Z Fold 7 and its comparison with previous models has appeared online

YouTube published a video that shows not only a detailed mock-up of the flagship foldable smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, but also a comparison with past models of this line.

The author of the video armed with a caliper and stated that the thickness of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 mockup in the unfolded state is 4.5 mm, although earlier it was claimed that the thickness of the smartphone is only 3.9 mm, which would make it the thinnest on the market. But the dimensions shown are already thicker than the Oppo Find N5 triple "clamshell" (4.2mm).

At the same time, the Z Fold 7 is thinner than the previous Fold 6 and Fold SE models, and the screen diagonal has grown, although the aspect ratio has remained unchanged (compared to the Fold 6).

When folded, the Z Fold 7 was almost the same size as the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The Z Fold 7 and other Samsung new products will be unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked, which is expected to take place on 9 July at 16:00 (CEST).
