Motorola has unveiled Moto G66j 5G budget smartphone with good specs and rugged body

Motorola has unveiled a new mid-range smartphone, the Moto G66j 5G, aimed at users who value reliability, battery life and balanced specifications.

Here's What We Know

The novelty stands out with a durable body, a powerful battery and a decent camera.

The main characteristics of the Moto G66j 5G:

  • 6.7″LCD display with Full HD+ resolution (2400×1080) and 120Hz refresh rate. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i;
  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7060 (2×2.6 GHz + 6×2.0 GHz);
  • 8GB RAM expandable up to 24GB with RAM Boost, 128GB inbuilt storage + microSD up to 2TB;
  • 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 32MP front camera with Quad Pixel;
  • 5200 mAh battery with 30W fast charging;
  • stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, 3.5mm audio jack, two microphones, NFC, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G support;
  • IP68/IP69, MIL-STD-810H dust, water and drop protection;
  • Android 15 with proprietary Hello UX shell.

Moto G66j 5G sales will start from 10 July in Japan at a price of $220 (in Yen terms), with a global version called Moto G66 5G coming later.

The smartphone is available in three colours, Pantone Black Oyster, Pantone Dill and Pantone Gray Mist.
