1 million players in a fortnight: the authors of Dune: Awakening shared the first successes of the game and revealed interesting statistics

Two weeks have passed since the release of the long-awaited multiplayer survival simulator Dune: Awakening.
The game received great reviews from the public and high marks from critics, and now the authors have shared one more happy news.
Here's What We Know
Funcom studio reported that sales of Dune: Awakening exceeded 1 million copies, making the game the most successful work of the Norwegians. In comparison, their game in a similar genre Conan Exiles took a year to achieve a similar result.
The authors thanked the audience for their support and interest in Dune: Awakening and published the first in-game statistics, according to which:
- 121,653,795 building items have been used by players since release;
- 66,883 heroes have died in the sandstorm;
- gamers have collected 517,585 ornithopters;
- players consumed 6,110,692,000 grams of spice;
- 816,720 characters were swallowed by the sandworm Shai-Hulud;
- players have left the Hagg Pool 463,231 times;
- gamers have explored 25,529,505 square kilometres;
- 629,807 heroes died in the Deep Desert;
- 56,253 millilitres of blood have been extracted from muad'dib;
- 101,259 knives were made from the teeth of sandworms;
- Bene Gesserit was the most popular starting mentor (31%), followed by Sword Master (25%), Soldier (24%) and Mentat (20%);
- players have formed 121,941 guilds.
Dune: Awakening is only available on PC (Steam), but the authors are working on porting the game to consoles.
