Dolby and Audi announced a partnership to integrate Dolby Atmos into cars

Dolby Atmos technology will be available for Audi models equipped with the Bang Olufsen Premium 3D speaker system. The first Dolby Atmos-enabled cars will be delivered in July 2025.

Here's What We Know

Dolby Atmos is a surround sound technology developed by Dolby Laboratories. It is characterised by high realism and the quality of sound transmission at a level close to that of a concert.

Starting in July 2025, the following Audi models will receive Dolby Atmos:

• Audi Q7
• Audi Q8
• Audi A8
• Audi e-tron GT

Audi's Dolby Atmos technology will be available in all markets where Audi connect services are officially available.
