Turkish developers have announced a stylish detective adventure game Pera Coda in the setting of mystical Istanbul
Turkish studio Elyzio announced isometric detective adventure Pera Coda, in which players will have to unravel the psychological tangle of memories of the hero, stuck between life and death.
Here's What We Know
The events of Pera Coda are set in a mystical version of Istanbul's Pera neighbourhood, where East and West meet. The main character of the game will be a lawyer named Deniz, who is stuck in an endless series of repetitions and is trying to figure out the reasons behind the events that are happening.
There will be no fights in Pera Coda, but only exploration of atmospheric locations, dialogues with characters and solving puzzles. Each loop will be unique and brings the player closer to the denouement.
The authors of the game were clearly inspired by Disco Elysium, Outer Wilds and 12 Minutes, and it is evident from the concept, main mechanics and artwork of Pera Coda.
The developers characterise the novelty as a game about a man, his feelings of guilt and Istanbul - a city that reflects the inner state of the hero as well as a mirror.
When We Can Expect It
Pera Coda release date is still unknown, the game will be released on PC and unnamed consoles.
