The Zone is full of life: STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl major update 1.5 has been released
GSC Game World studio has released a major update 1.5 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the scale of which was enough for a separate trailer.
Here's What We Know
In addition to fixing bugs, the Ukrainian developers made a lot of important innovations.
First of all, it is necessary to highlight new weapons - Kora pistol and three-line rifle. Significant changes have been made to the A-life system, which should now finally function as intended: it will simulate the behaviour of mutants and characters in the Zone even if they are not in the direct line of sight of the player, and stalkers will now interact with each other more often, communicate, sing songs around the campfire and do other things.
Some weapons can now continue reloading if they have been interrupted without having to start the process again.
In the game there is a new type of tasks related to hunting mutants and extracting parts of their bodies for the purpose of selling.
The developers improved the interface and adapted the lip movements of characters to the Ukrainian voiceover.
Importantly, patch 1.5 launched in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 official support for custom modifications, and create them will help Zone Kit toolkit. You can download ready-made mods in the Steam workshop or in the Mod.io service.
The patch is available on PC and Xbox Series.
