Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 in the official palette: almost crease-free, but with a flashy camera
Samsung is full speed ahead of its presentation at Galaxy Unpacked on July 9, 2025 in Brooklyn, and it's already "overdue" with the colours, with official shots of it in three colours - Jet Black, Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow - appearing on staging pages. The model also has a convoluted heritage: the Z Fold 6 previously came in five colours, including Crafted Black and Navy, but inherited only three neutral tones.
Here's What We Know
With the arrival of quality leaks from Evan Blass, we're getting more than just visual material - the Galaxy Z Fold 7 promises to be ultra-thin: just 4.5mm when unfolded, compared to the Fold 6's 5.6mm. The former fold is minimal, the front camera is now in the form of a hole, which will improve selfies (instead of UDC).
Under the bonnet there's a Snapdragon 8 Elite, 12/16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, and an impressive camera unit: 200 MP main, 12 MP ultra-wide and 10 MP zoom lens (10× optical or 3× - sources specify) . The battery is 4400 mAh, charging 25W + wireless 15W .
The signature Armor aluminium body plus the Fold 6's IP48 protection - these benefits are likely to continue. There are rumours of deep Galaxy AI (ProVisual Engine) integration for quality shots and video stabilisation.
The launch is just under two weeks away - the Unpacked date is set for 9 July 2025. Apart from the Z Fold 7, the Z Flip 7 (in the same colours) and Galaxy Watch 8 are expected, there could be a budget Flip FE and possibly a Fold Ultra attachment.
