Performance record-breaker hits the market: Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi K80 Ultra flagship smartphone
Xiaomi has officially unveiled its new flagship, the Redmi K80 Ultra, which is already being hailed as the brand's most powerful smartphone.
Here's What We Know
The novelty received a 6.83″OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution and peak brightness up to 3200 nits.
For performance is responsible for the top chipset MediaTek Dimensity 9400 + paired with a graphical AI chip D2, which allowed the device to score more than 3.24 million points in the test AnTuTu V103.
The smartphone features a 7,410mAh battery that offers up to two days of battery life, with support for 100W fast charging.
The Redmi K80 Ultra offers a great set of cameras:
- 50MP Light Hunter 800 main one with optical stabilisation;
- 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor;
- 20MP front.
Other features of the flagship include IP68/IP69 protection, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7 and NFC support.
The smartphone comes with HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, the OS is expected to be updated for 2-3 years.
The Xiaomi flagship is available in five configurations: 12+256GB, 16+256GB, 12+512GB, 16+512GB and 16+1TB.
The price of the base version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage is just $360.
The global release of the smartphone is expected in August 2025, probably under a different name, as has been the case with previous models in the series.
