Criticism hasn't stopped FBC: Firebreak from attracting 1 million players
Remedy Entertainment's co-operative shooter FBC: Firebreak was released last week.
Gamers and critics met the Control spin-off with mixed reviews, noting that the game idea is not bad, but the small amount of content and not the most successful technical execution spoilt the impression.
Here's What We Know
Despite the criticism, FBC: Firebreak managed to gather more than 1 million players - this was reported by Finnish developers, thanking the public for their interest in the game.
This number does not reflect the number of sold copies of FBC: Firebreak, as the novelty is available from the first day in PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass and the developers did not specify how many players are subscribers of these services.
Earlier, the authors recognised some of the game's shortcomings and promised to address them in the next updates, and they plan to release two major content updates before the end of 2025.
