A limited edition version of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has been announced that pays homage to classic Leica cameras

A limited edition version of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has been unveiled with customised colourways inspired by the classic Leica camera palette.

As a reminder, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra was released in March 2025 and is positioned as a flagship smartphone that bets on mobile photography and artificial intelligence.

To underline the focus on photography, the Chinese manufacturer introduced a limited edition Xiaomi 15 Ultra with customised colours and mobile photography accessories - cases with shutter buttons and straps.

Flashback

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra gets a four-module Leica camera that includes a 1″ Sony LYT900 sensor, a 200-megapixel Samsung HP9 telephoto lens with a 100mm focal length, and ultra-wide-angle and portrait modules. All cameras support shooting in 8K and 4K up to 120fps. The front camera has been given 32MP.

The smartphone features a 6.73″AMOLED display with 2K resolution, up to 3200 nits brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. High performance will be provided by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chipset with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

The battery capacity is 6000 mAh and supports 90W fast charging and 80W wireless charging. The smartphone's screen is protected by proprietary Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0.

The device comes with Android 15-based HyperOS 2 with HyperAI integration - an AI assistant system for writing, translating, summarising and creative tasks.
