Realme has officially launched its budget smartphone C71 in Europe, which had earlier debuted in Asia. However, the European version has a number of differences, both in a good and compromising way.

In Europe, the device will be sold with a 6,000mAh battery (Asia had 6,300mAh), but retains the 45W SuperVOOC fast charging - as well as the 6W cable reverse charging feature, which can be used to charge another smartphone or accessories directly from the Realme C71.

The main advantage of the European version is the increased memory capacity. If in Asia the model was sold with a maximum of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, the European C71 received 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of permanent memory. The rest of the specs remain the same: Unisoc T250 processor, 6.67″ LCD screen with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 shell and a fingerprint scanner on the side edge.

Cameras are standard for this segment: 5 MP front and 50 MP main with LED ring light, which also signals charging and notifications. An important bonus - the case protection according to the military standard MIL-STD-810H: the smartphone can withstand drops from a height of up to 1.5 metres. The colours are Forest Owl and White Swan, and sales have already started in Bulgaria: the promotional price is 300 leva (about 150 € or $180).

Realme positions the C71 as a device for those who want the maximum for the minimum money: a large screen, powerful battery, fast charging, memory reserve and durability - all this at a budget price. The model is expected to be available in other European countries in the near future.
