We already reported that NVIDIA is preparing RTX 5070 SUPER graphics card with 18GB of video memory, but now it has become known that the company will release a beefed up version of another current generation GPU.

Here's What We Know

Sources say that the RTX 5080 SUPER is in development, which will get 24GB of GDDR7 video memory with a 32Gbps transfer rate and a 256-bit bus, which will provide an increase in bandwidth to 1TB/s and beyond.

Along with this, power consumption will also increase, with the 5080 SUPER expected to require up to 415W - 15% more than the standard RTX 5080. With the increased performance, the number of CUDA cores will remain the same - 10752.

RTX 508 SUPER will be aimed at gamers who want to run games at top settings, and will be an intermediate between RTX 5080 and RTX 5090, which is designed for 4K gaming and professional tasks, such as working with graphics or video content processing.

The RTX 508 SUPER is not expected to be announced until 2026 at the earliest.
