With the colossal success of Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar studio couldn't (or didn't want to?) unlock the full potential of Red Dead Online, so the game, which could have become a worthy competitor to GTA Online, is in a half-abandoned state and hasn't received absolutely no content updates for several years.

But to the surprise of the public, there is information in the network, which may indicate the resumption of support for Red Dead Online.

Here's What We Know

Some members of the RDO community received a newsletter from Rockstar, to which an insider ben drawn attention. According to it, on 2 July in Red Dead Online may appear a chain of tasks related to the character named Theodore Levin, who appeared in RDR 2:

Writer Theodore Levin needs your help investigating the strange and unexplained in Strange Tales of the West, a new set of four creepy missions coming to Red Dead Online tomorrow. Follow the trail of undead, rebel automatons, swamp creatures and more as you retrieve Mr Levine's letters at any post office, camp safe or via Telegram Missions in the menu.

Rockstar hasn't made any official announcements, but the amount of information provided doesn't indicate that this is a fake.
