Developers from Halo Studios, formerly known as 343 Industries, have announced when fans of the Halo franchise will learn the first details of the new instalment of the legendary series.

The authors said that the big news about the new shooter will be revealed at the Halo World Championship 2025 cybersport tournament, which will take place from 24 to 26 October.

The company emphasised that last year at the same event the first information about A New Dawn - an abstract new chapter in the history of the franchise and the transition to Unreal Engine 5 - was heard. At that time, it was also revealed that the shooter was being developed under the working title Project Foundry.
