Nothing introduced Phone (3) - a flagship smartphone with a bold design and great specs
Nothing has officially announced "its first true flagship" Phone (3). The British brand is once again banking on a unique user experience and an unconventional approach to design. Phone (3) is not just an update, but an attempt to redefine what a modern Android flagship should be.
Here's What We Know
The novelty received not only an updated design, but also serious improvements in terms of specifications and software features.
The main characteristics of the Nothing Phone (3):
- 6.67″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260, 120 Hz and brightness up to 4500 nits;
- Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor;
- 12/16GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage;
- cameras: four 50 MP sensors (main, telephoto lens with 3x zoom, ultra-wide and front);
- 5150 mAh battery (with 5500 mAh in India), 65W fast charging, 15W wireless charging;
- operating system - Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5 shell, promised 5 years of Android updates and 7 years of security patches.
The main innovation of the Nothing Phone (3) is its design and especially the Glyph Matrix module. Instead of the usual LED backlighting on the back, it now uses a matrix of 489 LEDs to display the time, notifications and even mini apps like Magic 8 Ball. Controls are operated via a touch-sensitive area on the back cover.
The flagship gets the following AI capabilities:
- Flip to Record: automatically record and AI-summarise meetings when the phone is flipped screen down;
- Essential Space: a single space for notes, ideas and content;
- Smart Search: universal search across apps, contacts and the web.
The smartphone officially launches on 15 July, with pre-orders opening on 4 July. The Nothing Phone (3) is priced from $799 / €799 / £799.
The smartphone is available in black and white colours.
