Stay cool! Ten Call of Duty games are temporarily unavailable, but not for long

If any of our readers can't access Call of Duty - don't panic, it's a temporary and planned phenomenon.

Here's What We Know

Activision has announced that the servers for ten shooters in the Call of Duty series will be temporarily shut down for maintenance.

The following games will be unavailable from 12pm to 4pm (CEST):

• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023)
• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022)
• Call of Duty: WWII
• Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
• Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
• Call of Duty: Ghosts
• Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
• Call of Duty: Black Ops
• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

It is not yet known for what purpose Activision is doing such urgent "maintenance", but there is speculation that some of these games are being prepared to be added to Xbox Game Pass.
