Publisher 2K and studio Hangar 13 reported that more than 2.5 million players have added the new part with the subtitle The Old Country to their own wish list, which actually means their readiness to buy the game.

Recall, the events of Mafia: The Old Country will unfold in the early 1900s in the homeland of the Italian mafia - the island of Sicily. The protagonist - Enzo Favarra (Enzo Favara) was an ordinary young miner, but in the pursuit of a good life was drawn into a cycle of revenge, hostility and bloodshed and became a full member of the mafia family of Don Torrisi (Torrisi Family).
The game will be a prequel to the first part of the series.
