Marvel Rivals authors show off Phoenix's abilities in new gameplay trailer

Recently NetEase announced the third season of the popular online action game Marvel Rivals, which will be called The Abyss Awakens.

In Marvel Rivals will add two playable characters - the iconic vampire hunter Blade and Phoenix, known from X-Men comics, and it is the girl dedicated the next trailer.

Here's What We Know

In the gameplay video viewers were reminded that Jean Grey's body contains the Phoenix Force, thanks to which she is able to throw fireballs, create flame whirlwinds and use other abilities related to the fire element.

In the comics and films, the girl has telekinetic powers, but she won't have them in the game.

In Marvel Rivals, Phoenix is classed as a Duelist, which means her maximum effectiveness in attacking targets.

Phoenix and Blade will appear in the action game on 11 July and will be free for all players.

The third season of The Abyss Awakens will run for two months.

The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
