It's official: CD Projekt and Netflix are working on the second season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

CD Projekt RED has confirmed the development of the second season of the animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

Here's What We Know

Representatives of the Polish company said that they are once again working with Netflix and Japanese studio TRIGGER on the sequel to the anime, which was released in 2022 and won numerous awards.

The creators revealed that the second season based on Cyberpunk 2077 will not be connected to the first and will offer a standalone story of ten episodes, the events of which will once again unfold in Night City.

David's story may have come to an end, but there's still a lot more to discover in Knight City! That the legendary animation studio TRIGGER has once again embarked on a collaborative journey makes us at CD Projekt RED incredibly excited to be able to present a raw, honest chronicle of redemption and revenge unlike anything we've done before.

A release date for Season 2 is still unknown.
