Apple is preparing to release an ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air model, and a new leak has revealed a possible colour palette.

Here's What We Know

The smartphone is expected to be released in four variants, among which a light shade of blue attracts special attention. In certain lighting conditions, it may appear white.

This new shade, according to a Fixed Focus Digital insider on Chinese social network Weibo, will be much paler than the renders published by @theapplehub. It's already been compared to the Turquoise colour of the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, but it looks like Apple has decided to make it even less saturated. Some believe that this colour has even "surpassed" the yellow version of the iPhone 15 in terms of its ambiguity.

In addition, the 17 Air model is rumoured to receive a light version of the new Lavender colour, as well as an updated version of Desert Titanium, a muted sand colour from the iPhone 16 Pro series.

The only bright contrast among all the shades will be the fourth option, similar to Space Black, which Apple used in MacBooks with M3 processors.

The iPhone 17 Air is expected to be Apple's thinnest model to date. The official presentation of the smartphone may take place in autumn 2025.
