Budget battery monster: Honor X70 smartphone gets 8300mAh battery and decent specs

Tomorrow - 8 July - is expected to be the presentation of budget smartphone Honor X70, the main feature of which will be a battery of impressive capacity.

Authoritative insider Panda is Bald has reported the first details of Honor X70 and special attention deserves the gadget's battery, which will have a capacity of 8300 mAh, making it one of the most autonomous gadgets on the market. It will support 80W charging and the top-end version with 512GB of flash storage will have wireless charging as well.

The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen4 processor that will deliver decent performance.

According to Panda is Bald, the Honor X70 will get a flat screen with a 6.79″ diagonal and 1.5K resolution.

The regular version of the smartphone will be 7.7cm thick, while the top-end version will be 7.9mm thick. Buyers will be offered three body colours: white, blue and black.

The Honor X70 is expected to be priced in the same range as last year's Honor X60 - around $170 (in terms of Yuan).
