Immerse yourself in the criminal world of Sicily: nine minutes of Mafia: The Old Country gameplay unveiled

IGN portal presented an exclusive gameplay video of Mafia: The Old Country, which for the first time allows to make a detailed impression of the new part of the cult series.

Here's What We Know

Viewers were shown 9 minutes of gameplay of cinematic crime action. The video starts with the main character Enzo Favara coming to the reception of Don Torrisi, who asks the protagonist to carry out an attack on the villa of one of the feuding families.

The process of preparation for this operation can't help but remind gamers of the first part of Mafia and its remake (2021): the protagonist receives instructions, after which he visits the man responsible for the armoury, picks up a suitable weapon, gets transport and sets off on the job.

The technical side of Mafia: The Old Country is close to Mafia: Definitive Edition, so gameplay and interface will be familiar to everyone who has played this game, but graphics, detailing and visual effects have reached a new level, and excellent voice acting with a lot of Sicilian expressions and Italian temperament gives the game additional charm and atmosphere.

When We Can Expect It

Mafia: The Old Country is already "gone gold", so there will be no postponements and its release will definitely take place on 8th August on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
