Is Marvel's Wolverine close to release? Insomniac Games is working on two unannounced titles
Insomniac Games is one of Sony's most productive internal studios, but Marvel's Wolverine, a superhero action game announced for 2021, has yet to be released and will not be released until 1 April 2026 at the earliest.
In the network appeared information that allows us to hope that the main work on the game is completed and the team is working on other projects.
Here's What We Know
The media reported that a senior character and concept artist from Insomniac Games, whose name is not mentioned for privacy reasons, mentioned in his LinkedIn profile that the team is working not only on Marvel's Wolverine, but also on two unannounced games.
Of course, it's still unknown what those games are, but it's highly likely that one of them is the third instalment of Spider-Man, which is clearly hinted at by the game's 2023 ending. Additionally, after the release of Spider-Man 2, there were rumours that Insomniac Games was working on a small Venom spin-off, but no information has surfaced about it since.
The main conclusion that can be drawn from this news is that Sony will be stepping up Marvel's Wolverine promotional campaign and naming a release date for the game in the near future.
