Apart from the OnePlus Nord 5 sub-flagship smartphone and the new Buds 4 TWS headphones, OnePlus has also unveiled the Nord CE 5 budget smartphone.

Here's What We Know

The Nord CE 5 is positioned as the next generation of affordable devices with a focus on battery life and balanced performance.

The Nord CE 5 gets a 6.77″ AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 1430 nits.

The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset made using 4nm process technology, paired with LPDDR5X RAM (8GB or 12GB) and UFS 3.1 storage up to 256GB.

The main feature of the smartphone is a 7100 mAh battery - a record high for the OnePlus brand. In the European version, the battery is reduced to 5200 mAh, but both modifications support SuperVOOC 80W fast charging and bypass charging technology that reduces heating during gaming.

The main camera of the OnePlus Nord CE 5 is represented by a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with optical stabilisation, complemented by an 8 MP wide-angle lens. The front camera is a 16 MP Sony IMX480. Video recording in 4K at 60fps is supported.

The smartphone runs on Android 15 with OxygenOS 15 shell and will get 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security - a first for the CE lineup. AI features like voice transcription, call translation, photo enhancement and smart search are also available.

The Nord CE 5 is available in Black Infinity, Marble Mist and Nexus Blue colours.

In Europe, prices start at €320 for the 8/128GB version and go up to €370 for the 8/256GB version (prices vary by country and retailer).
