Sony has revealed the date for the promised State of Play show, which will be entirely dedicated to samurai action game Ghost of Yotei.

Here's What We Know

The Japanese company has announced that the presentation will take place on 10 July at 11pm (CEST).

The broadcast will last 20 minutes, during which gamers will be shown the basic mechanics of Ghost of Yotei, and creative directors of Sucker Punch studio Jason Connell and Nate Fox will explain the motivation of the main character Atsu and reveal details of how the new game will differ from Ghost of Tsushima.

Viewers will also see new weapons and learn about the game's extensive customisation options.

State of Play will be streamed on YouTube and PlayStation's Twitch channels.

Ghost of Yotei will release on 2 October only on PlayStation.
