Paul Atreides returns: production has begun on the third instalment of 'Dune'

Fans of the Dune franchise had no doubt about it, but now it's official: Denis Villeneuve has started shooting a new film.

In the social networks of the film saga Duna published a post about the start of production of the film with the subtitle "Part Three", which is accompanied by a colourful photo of the desert, probably from the shooting site.

It is known that the new instalment will be based on the second Dune Messiah novel of Frank Herbert's iconic sci-fi series, which chronicles the reign of Paul Atreides as Emperor on Arrakis.
