Operatives are unrecognisable: The Division 2 will have a collaboration with Payday - the famous clown masks will appear in the game

Publisher Ubisoft has announced an unexpected collaboration that will take place in the popular shooter The Division 2.

Here's What We Know

The French company has joined forces with Swedish counterparts from Starbreeze Entertainment to add recognisable items from the Payday series of crime co-op shooters to their game.

A short teaser of the collaboration doesn't reveal any details, but reports that the event will begin on 15 July.

Apparently, The Division 2 will feature the famous clown masks used by the looters in Payday 3, it's not yet known what other content gamers are in for.

The Division 2 is available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
