TheGalaxy Fold 7 has lost 48% of its thickness in six years, with the last leap of minus 26% made in the last year between the Fold 6 and Fold 7. When folded, the Fold 7 is 8.9 mm thick (the first Fold was 17.1 mm), and when unfolded, it is 4.2 mm.

The secret of the "diet" is the new Armor FlexHinge, which allows the two halves of the device to fold as tightly as possible without gaps. In addition, Samsung has stretched the outer screen from 6.3 to 6.5 inches, and the inner screen has now reached 8 inches.
