200MP camera and top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset: insider reveals specs of Honor Magic 8 Pro flagship

A reputable Chinese insider Digital Chat Station has shared exclusive information about Honor's new flagship Magic 8 Pro model.

The smartphone will be one of the first gadgets with not yet presented chipset Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 from Qualcomm, thanks to which in terms of performance Magic 8 Pro will bypass the top smartphones, for example, Galaxy S25 Ultra. By the way, the details of this processor will be revealed at the Snapdragon Summit event, which Qualcomm will hold from 23 to 25 September.

According to Digital Chat Station, Honor Magic 8 Pro will get a screen with a diagonal of 6.71″, which is slightly smaller than the previous model (Magic 7 Pro has a diagonal of 6.8″).

One of the main advantages of the novelty from Honor will be a camera unit with a 200MP main sensor.

The battery capacity of Magic 8 Pro will be 7000 mAh or slightly more (but not higher than 8000 mAh). The wired charging power will be 100W and wireless charging will be 80W. The flagship smartphone will get an ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint scanner and facial recognition system.
