Borderlands 4 authors introduced Vex, a powerful siren with three ghostly familiars

Gearbox has launched a series of introductory videos dedicated to playable characters from the shooter Borderlands 4, and the first of them is dedicated to Vex.

Here's What We Know

The cinematic recalls that Vex is a dark siren who gained her supernatural abilities when she was working as a cashier and was caught off guard by a surprise sale for mercenaries, during which a brutal gunfight ensued. Under stress, the girl awakened her own murderous powers.

In terms of gameplay, Vex is a summoner, which allows her to use the help of three ghostly creatures in battle, as well as use other supernatural abilities. Each helper has a different type of attack, which depends on which elemental weapon the player is using.

When We Can Expect It

Borderlands 4 will be released on 12 September on MS, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
