Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will receive the latest ultra-thin display
Samsung is a recognised leader in the display industry. The company's R&D department has invented many useful technologies, including commercial OLED samples and the introduction of flexible displays, which are now the basis for foldable smartphones.
The latest leak shows that the company's search for innovations does not stop, and in a couple of months they will show the further evolution of displays.
What is it about
The Chinese informant Ice Universe claims that the new flagship of the company Galaxy S26 Ultra will use a CoE OLED display. CoE stands for Colour Filter of Encapsulation, a new technology that uses a colour filter instead of a polarisation layer and a separate anti-reflective layer (PDL).
In addition to the obvious reduction in the proportion of the display in the overall thickness of the smartphone, it also reduces the number of media through which light passes, which will reduce light loss and distortion. Such screens are expected to achieve higher peak brightness and be more energy efficient.
Here's What We Know
At the moment, we know that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a 5000 mAh battery and a 200-megapixel camera sensor from Sony.
