Vivo has unveiled the Y19s GT 5G, a budget smartphone with a focus on durability, autonomy and modern connectivity. Despite the "GT" labelling, the device is not aimed at gamers, but at users who care about protection, stable performance and 5G support.

Here's What We Know

The novelty received a 6.74″ LCD display with HD+ resolution (1600×720), refresh rate of 90 Hz and brightness up to 570 nits.

The processor is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset coupled with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of inbuilt eMMC 5.1 storage. Virtual RAM expansion is supported and there is a microSD slot for up to 2TB.

The Vivo Y19s GT 5G gets a 50MP main camera and a 5MP front camera. The 5500 mAh battery supports 15W charging.

The smartphone runs on Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 shell.

One of the key features of the Y19s GT 5G was enhanced protection: the body meets military standards MIL-STD-810H (shock, vibration, extreme temperatures) and is IP64 water and dust resistant. There's also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM support, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5 and USB-C.

The Vivo Y19s GT 5G is already on sale in Indonesia, priced between $127 and $152 depending on the configuration. The new product is available in Jade Green and Crystal Purple colours.

Vivo has not yet provided official information about the launch in Europe, the US or other regions.
