ASUS has accidentally revealed the prices of both ROG Xbox Ally models for the European market
Microsoft and ASUS have not yet announced the official price of the joint ROG Xbox Ally handheld consoles, which were announced in early June, but thanks to a leak this information has appeared online.
Here's What We Know
According to Spanish website 3D Juegos, ASUS accidentally revealed the prices of both ROG Xbox Ally models for the European market.
Due to the leak, it turned out that the basic version of the console will cost €599, while the more powerful ROG Xbox Ally X will cost €899.
Recall, the devices will run on Windows 11 Home with a redesigned Xbox App that integrates the libraries of Steam, Epic Games Store, GoG, Ubisoft Connect, Battle.net and other platforms. The gadget can run games natively or in the cloud, as well as stream games from the Xbox Home console, and is positioned as a great buy for Game Pass subscribers.
Both models will get integration with the Copilot for Gaming AI assistant, with the higher-end ROG Xbox Ally X model offering improved sticks and triggers with haptic feedback.
The base ROG Xbox Ally will be powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2A processor, striking the right balance between performance and battery life. Model X will get a powerful AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme chipset, which will give higher frame rates and improved graphics.
The new products will come without OLED screens - ASUS has focused on VRR and reduced power consumption so as not to inflate the price of the gadgets.
