The new Casio G-Shock G5600SFJ-9 is already on sale in the US for $150

Casio has officially launched the new G-Shock G5600SFJ-9 in the United States. The watch is part of the "Love the Sea and the Earth" series and was created in collaboration with the Japanese branch of the Surfrider Foundation, an organisation that advocates for the preservation of oceans and coasts.

Here's What We Know

One of the main features is a bright case and strap in the colour of the morning sun, made of bio-rubber with mixed dyes. Thanks to the unique material technology, each piece has an individual texture and pattern.

The display and case back feature the Surfrider Foundation Japan logo, and the strap lock has the inscription #oceanfriendlylifestyle. The watch comes in a branded eco-package with a nautical theme and a special fabric pouch.

The model is based on the G-5600UE platform and is powered by the brand's Tough Solar technology. The features include water resistance up to 200 metres, a stopwatch with an accuracy of 1/100th of a second, a countdown timer, 5 daily alarms, world time, an automatic calendar and LED backlight with adjustable backlight time.

The case measures 46.7 × 43.2 × 12.7 mm and weighs just 47 grams, making it light and compact, just like the other models in the 5600 series.

The Casio G-Shock G5600SFJ-9 is already available for purchase on the company's official website in the United States for $150. The quantity is limited.
