FORM introduces Smart Swim 2 PRO - the world's first AR goggles with Gorilla Glass protection

FORM has officially unveiled Smart Swim 2 PRO, the world's first AR goggles equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This solution provides resistance to scratches, drops and fogging, and improves optical properties without significantly increasing weight. Replacing plastic with glass has increased the weight of the goggles by only 3.4 grams - while the weight of the goggles is about 70 grams.

The new goggle has a built-in heart rate monitor placed in the temple area - it monitors heart rate in real time and displays the data directly in the swimmer's field of vision. The device also has a built-in SwimStraight digital compass, which allows you to keep your direction in open water and navigate without the help of buoys.

Smart Swim 2 PRO transmits information on pace, distance, time, speed and stroke frequency. The goggles sync with a branded app where you can set up personalised workouts, view stats and track progress.

There's also UPF 50+ UV protection and up to 98% UV blocking. Instead of the standard anti-fog coating, FORM suggests using a special spray kit for approximately 175 uses - to be applied before each workout.

The goggles are designed for athletes who train regularly and want to track metrics right along the way. They are suitable for pool and open water, and the navigation features and accurate heart rate monitor allow them to be used not only in training but also in competitions.

In addition to the release of the Smart Swim 2 PRO, FORM is also launching an expanded suite of new software features as part of the Premium subscription this summer. The updates will cover training scenarios, personalised plans and additional analytics. Meanwhile, all software will be compatible not only with the new glasses, but also with previous generations of FORM devices - without the need to replace the gadget.
