Media: iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will get a new anti-reflective coating that will protect the glass from scratches

MacRumors portal shared some interesting information about the flagship iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max.

Citing the words of a reliable source, MacRumors journalists reported that the top smartphones of the new line of Apple will receive displays with an exclusive anti-reflective coating.

It is claimed that such a screen will be much more resistant to scratches than Ceramic Shield, which is used in current iPhone models. At the same time, it is reported that the base model and the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air will not receive the new coating.

The insider confirmed that suppliers have already started mass production of the improved anti-reflective coating for the new flagship iPhones.

The iPhone 17 is expected to be unveiled on 9 or 10 September.
