Nothing Phone (3) withstood everything: blogger JerryRigEverything put the new smartphone to the test with a scalpel, fire and screwdriver

Popular technoblogger Zack Nelson, better known as JerryRigEverything, conducted a scalpel, fire and screwdriver test of the new Nothing Phone (3) smartphone.

"The first true flagship" from Nothing has been put to the ultimate test of strength and passed with flying colours. Looking ahead, after manipulations that make electronics fans' hearts ache and complete disassembly of the device, the author reassembled the Nothing Phone (3) and ... it worked!

The first to take the blow was the smartphone display - JerryRigEverything scratched it, undermined the frames and affected it with a lighter flame. Well, the smartphone scratches easily enough and Gorilla Glass 7i coating doesn't save it much. On the Mohs scale, the glass is easily scratched at levels six and seven, and the fire left a small localised stain on the screen.

The aluminium side edges are also scratched and chipped, but the bezel of the camera modules turned out to be stronger.

But the blogger did not manage to bend the Nothing Phone (3) - the case turned out to be strong and did not succumb to pressure.

JerryRigEverything praised the novelty for its repairability.
