Amplitude needs more time: the release of the early 4X strategy game Endless Legend 2 has been postponed
French studio Amplitude (author of Humankind) and publisher Hooded Horse have announced the postponement of the release date of the early version of the turn-based fantasy 4X-strategy Endless Legend 2.
Here's What We Know
Endless Legend 2 release was planned for August 7 in Steam Early Access, but after the results of Insiders testing the authors decided that they need to take more time to refine the game.
The new release date of the strategy game is 22nd of September. By this time Amplitude plans to improve the technical state and content of Endless Legend 2, as well as to eliminate flaws in localisations and make sure that the first impressions of players will be positive and the game will reveal its full potential.
As an apology for the delayed release, the developers will release a free demo version of Endless Legend 2, but when it will happen and what content will be included in it is still unknown.
Flashback
Endless Legend 2 is the sequel to the 2014 strategy game, and its events will unfold on the new planet Sayada, where the races living there suffer from constant tides. They cause large-scale floods and bring chaos to the lives of the locals, destabilising the situation in the states.
Endless Legend 2 will retain the visual style of the first part and make its gameplay even more exciting and deep. The developers will once again offer players several unique races, each with individual gameplay mechanics, units, buildings and more.
