Sucker Punch dreams of returning to inFamous, but now all efforts are focused on Ghost of Yōtei

While the whole gaming world is talking about Ghost of Yōtei (and, of course, mentioning Ghost of Tsushima), it's easy to forget about other great projects from Sucker Punch. But what about inFamous? These open-world superhero games were the real stars of the PlayStation 3 generation and even the PS4 generation with inFamous: Second Son. However, since then, the franchise has remained in the shadows. Is there a chance for its return?

Here's What We Know

In an interview with Game Informer, Ghost of Yōtei co-director Nate Fox admitted that he would "really like to work on new inFamous installments" and even "see the trilogy re-released".

However, the studio is currently working on a "one game at a time" basis, and they are currently very focused on completing Ghost of Yōtei. This means that, although you should never say never, a new inFamous instalment is unlikely to appear anytime soon.

It would be interesting to see if Sony will release a collection of the previous instalments and their DLC, especially for PS5. After all, collections such as Ratchet and Clank Collection, Jak and Daxter Collection, and even Sucker Punch's own The Sly Collection are still locked on PS3 and PlayStation Vita.

As for Ghost of Yōtei, it is coming out on 2 October for PlayStation 5.
