OPPO has unveiled a new series of smartphones in China - K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro, which are aimed at gamers and users who care about high performance and efficient cooling.

Here's What We Know

K13 Turbo is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset with Mali-G720 MC7 graphics, while its older counterpart K13 Turbo Pro is powered by powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 with Adreno 825 graphics and Wi-Fi 7 support. Both smartphones get LPDDR5X standard memory and UFS drives: the Turbo version is 3.1 and the Pro version is 4.0.

The display on both models is 6.8″ AMOLED, with a resolution of 2800×1280, refresh rate up to 120Hz and brightness up to 1600 nits.

The OPPO K13 Turbo series received the Super Cooling Kit, a hybrid cooling system that combines liquid and air cooling:

  • the kit includes a magnetic micro-turbine housing to circulate the coolant;
  • a 27W IceWing external fan, which is magnetically attached to the case and actively blows around the device;
  • both accessories feature RGB lighting and are designed to reduce motherboard temperature under heavy loads such as gaming.

This kit is available as an optional accessory and is compatible with both K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro models. It helps maintain stable performance even in extreme temperatures, as confirmed by tests in the Fiery Mountain Desert, which is the hottest point in China, where a hundred K13 Turbo devices passed an overheating test, showing stable performance at 58°C.

The 7,000mAh battery supports 80W Super Flash Charge fast charging, with a full charge achieved in 54 minutes. The Pro version is also compatible with Quick Charge, UFCS, PPS and Power Delivery technologies.

The smartphones get a 50 MP main camera, an additional 2 MP monochrome sensor and a 16 MP front camera. The Pro model will offer optical stabilisation and 4K time-lapse support.

The smartphones are IPX6, IPX8 and IPX9 certified, feature NFC, IR port, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C and run on Android 15-based ColorOS 15.

The devices are available in Knight White, First Purple and Black Samurai colours, while the Pro version is also available in Knight Silver. The sales launch in China is scheduled for 25 July, with a global release expected in August.
