iRobot has announced a new Roomba Max 705 Combo robot hoover that can both vacuum and mop the floor. But most importantly, it can now independently wash and dry its mop, as well as clean the waste container. All this happens through a special base called AutoWash Dock.

Here's What We Know

The robot has a more powerful motor than previous models and is better at dealing with pet hair and dust. According to the manufacturer, its suction power is 175 times higher than the old Roomba 600 series. Brushes do not get tangled in the hair, and built-in sensors and navigation system help the hoover move carefully, without crashing into furniture and bypassing toys, wires and even pets.

But the main feature is the mop's automatic washing and drying, and the ability to forget about cleaning for 75 days. The base not only removes debris from the robot, but also makes sure its cleaning elements are clean. It also refills the water in the tank and cleans the filters itself.

The hoover can be customised via the mobile app: specify which rooms to clean, on which days and at what time. It also supports voice control via Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.

First Roomba Max 705 Combo will go on sale in Europe (recommended price - 1099 euros), later - in the United States and Japan.
