Along with the Sequoia SUV, the Toyota Tundra full-size pickup truck has also been updated for the 2026 model year in America. There are not many changes, but they concern both appearance and equipment. At the same time, the price has also increased - now the base version in the U.S. costs from $41,260, which is $1,170 more than before.

Here's What We Know

As in the case with Sequoia, the main novelty in design is the blue colour of the body Wave Maker, available only for the TRD Pro version. In addition, all packages now come with a towbar and 7/4 pin connectors.

The SX package gets new 20-inch wheels, and the TRD Rally kit can now be supplemented with a 3-inch (76 mm) lift kit and Tow Tech package for towing.

The Limited version gets genuine leather instead of synthetic SofTex, in black or grey with contrast stitching. The $80,800 flagship Capstone has a new Shale trim with textured inserts and brown accents.

The TRD Pro can be equipped with new ISO Dynamic seats, the same as the Tacoma TRD Pro. These are designed to enhance off-road driving comfort.

The climate system has also been updated: even base versions with single-zone climate control now feature Intelligent Airflow Control. In addition, Double Cab cabs now have deflectors for the rear row on the centre console.

The engine range remains unchanged: the twin-turbo V6 3.4 i-FORCE petrol V6 produces 389 hp and 649 Nm, while the i-FORCE MAX hybrid version delivers 437 hp and 790 Nm. Both engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic. Both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive modifications are available.

But there is an important update: Toyota has abandoned the "small" 85-litre tank on the SR and SR5 versions. All Tundras now have a standard larger 122-litre (32.2 gallon) tank.
