Zombie apocalypse delayed - in pursuit of perfection Techland has postponed the release of Dying Light: The Beast
Polish studio Techland did not skimp on the marketing campaign of Dying Light: The Beast and promised to release it on the 22nd of August, but, as it often happens, the authors found a good reason to postpone the release.
Here's What We Know
Gamers were informed that Dying Light: The Beast will be released on 19th September on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
The studio has analysed the feedback from those who read the preview version of the game, and although the journalists were satisfied with the novelty, it revealed several flaws that "don't make you feel the difference between a 'good game' and a 'great game'". Additional time will be spent on improving the technical state of Dying Light: The Beast, adjusting the balance, refining the interface and fixing the remaining bugs.
Also physics, animation, lighting effects and other important aspects of the zombie action will be improved, and the first to evaluate it will be the visitors of gamescom 2025, which will be held from 20 to 24 August.
