It's official: online horror game Friday the 13th: The Game will get a sequel

At the end of 2024, the servers of the popular online horror game Friday the 13th: The Game were shut down. This event saddened the game's small but dedicated community of fans, as it left only an offline mode in which it was of little interest.

However, today there is some news that will make Friday the 13th fans happy.

Here's What We Know

At the Comic-Con event in San Diego, Vice President of Horror Inc. VP of Horror Inc. Robbie Barsamian revealed that not only a new film based on the horror universe about maniac Jason Voorhees is in development, but also another game.

I can tell you that the film sequel and the new game are part of our priority. That's what most of our efforts are focused on. We are finally ready to realise it.

This post is not a full game announcement, it will follow a bit later, but it confirms that the project is in development and will definitely come out (someday).
